You enter the grocery store in a defensive position against high grocery
store prices. No longer are you going to allow advertisements to persuade
you. After all, you have eaten a hardy brunch before taking pursuit into the
grocery aisles.
Yes! You are ready. Ready to fight the challenge of pinching a penny &
making it squeal for help! You will not pay high prices, because you have a
strategy. You have your coupon organizer with all the coupons neatly
arranged by category and sorted aisle by aisle.
You are also at the store at a time that very few people are there in order to
spend as little time in the store as possible. You know that studies have
been proven that the longer you spend in the store, the more you will
spend.
You have your sales flier handy & you looked at it ahead of time. Today
you are only buying items that you have coupons for & there is a sale on.
There is no reason for you to pay hard prices. The only exceptions to this
rule is for generic items & your daily necessities (bread, milk, etc).
You also have already made a menu for the next month & planned all of
your families meals ahead of time. You have a pre-written grocery list &
hand.
Your children are at home with your spouse watching a cartoon.
And you even remembered to print out the weekly web bucks at
http://www.valupage.com
before you headed for the grocery store.
You will be brave & ask for a rain check on any sale items the store may
be out of.
You are prepared for action. You are now definitely prepared to fight
grocery store prices & save!
GO! You are off to the finish line. The clerk checks you out. He gasps. He
can't believe how much you saved.
You drive home with groceries in the back. Your spouse smiles, pats you
on the back and says "Way to Go!"
