Handmade Gifts for Dad
by Jennifer Dolan
Description: Handmade gift ideas for Father's Day.
Father's Day is only a few days away. Here are a few inexpensive and heartfelt gift
ideas for Dad:
Framed Artwork
Have your child draw or paint a picture and have it framed for Dad to take to the office.
Gift Certificates
Have your child present Dad with gift certificates for chores such as washing the car or
cleaning the garage.
Dad's Story
Have your child write a story about Dad's life or a favorite day spent together.
Bind the pages into a book with ribbon or yarn. Your child can draw a cover or
make one using the computer. For an extra special touch, your child can incorporate
pictures or photos throughout.
Hand Prints
Take your child's handprints using plaster of paris or a kit from the craft store.
This is an especially nice gift idea if your child is an infant or toddler, but it
works well for all ages.
