Refresh Old Ornaments
by Kelley Taylor

Description: Ideas for refreshing old Christmas ornaments.

Do you have a bunch of old ornaments that need spiffing up, or perhaps mis-matched ones from Christmas' past that need a unifying look? It's easy to refresh tired glass ball ornaments with a little sparkle and flair by using some craft punches from your scrapbook supplies.

You'll need:

a. Paper punches (try basic shapes like dots, stars, starbursts, squares, ovals, swirls, etc.)
b. Therm-O-Web's PeelnStick Double Sided Adhesive
c. Glitter or Glass Seed Beads

Tools: Scissors, Newsprint to protect your work surface

Instructions:

1. Start by punching several shapes out of the double sided adhesive. For stripes, simply cut strips from adhesive.
2. Peel one side of the paper backing off design and dip into glitter or seed beads. Prepare several shapes repeating steps above.
3. Peel remaining paper backing off of sparkling design and adhere to glass ornaments in random patterns. Mix, match, and have fun creating your works of art.
