How to Clean a Blender in Less than 30 Seconds
I've run across some neat cleaning tips, but I have to say this is one of the greatest ones I have run across in awhile. While I was browsing Pinterest the other day, I found this tip for cleaning the blender. You'll never look at cleaning the blender the same way again, I promise. This is awesome!
A couple of months ago I tried this recipe for making green smoothies. The problem with making smoothies is what a mess it makes of your blender. And I HATE cleaning my blender. Until now, anyway.
So most of the time when you clean your blender you take it all apart, rinse it out, and maybe throw it in the dishwasher, right?
Well this way is SO much easier. After you use the blender give it a quick rinse, add a squirt of liquid dish soap, and fill it half way with warm water.
Place the blender back on the blender base and blend for 5-10 seconds. Rinse, and it's clean!
Seriously, that's it. No taking the blender apart anymore. Turning on the blender with the soap and water in it gets into all the nooks and crannies and cleans out anything that just normal rinsing wouldn't get to. I even took mine apart the first time I tried to see if it was really clean, and it was!
Don't just take my word for it, try it for yourself. You will be happy you did.
