clean your carpet once a year.
The next interval is once every nine months. Clean your carpet
every nine months if you have children or pets or if you have a
household of one or two whom are smokers. If you meet these
requirements, clean your carpet once every nine months.
Clean your carpet every six months if you have kids and pets or
kids and smokers in the family. The combinations of these
factors makes twice yearly carpet cleaning necessary so if you
meet these conditions clean it every six months.
Finally there is the three month interval. This is for homes
that have pets, kids and smokers. If this is the case three
months is the maximum you should go between cleanings as these
factors are rough on a carpet and a home.

cleanings if you have a lot of hard surfaces in the home. You
