If you are looking for a fast, inexpensive, chemical-free alternative to cleaning your microwave, then you have to give this tip a try!
All you need is a lemon and a cup of water. I used a small bowl and put about a cup of water in it. Next cut a fresh lemon into quarters. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the cup of water.
Place what is left of the lemons in the water, and then place the bowl or cup in the microwave. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave, the bowl and the water will be very hot.
The steam from the water should have softened all the hardened food stuck to the inside of the microwave. The lemon cleans and gives it a nice fresh smell.
Take a damp rag and wipe out the inside of the microwave. It should just take a few minutes, and that's it...you're done! Ten minutes or less!
