Room Color

Laundry room is least likely to be visited by different guests or odd visitors, so you can design and color the room according to your favorite specifications. You can paint the room in different vibrant shades. You can even make different classic combos such as white and violet, beige and maroon, dark brown and off-white. The other most suitable color combinations are green and yellow, blue and pink, grey and blue, silver and black. These are some choices which you can do to make your laundry room look lively. If your laundry room has proper ventilation and sunlight access you can paint the room in different dark colors. You can even put up some decorative lights to boost up the interior decoration of the room.

Storage Cabinets

Storage cabinets can be described as one of the most important aspects of the design of a laundry room. You need to store different items of laundry by carefully planning the area available for storage purposes. First of all place the items of daily usage at a point of easy access and use the remaining space for other items. A simple idea to use the laundry space smartly is by mounting the washer dryer combination in a storage unit which is fixed in a wall. This will help in saving the ample floor space which you can use for other purposes. You can also install a folding board which you can use for ironing.

Useful Counters

Shelves and counters also play a vital role in designing a laundry room. You can place clothes, sewing machine, or can even iron clothes on such counters. You can even fix some drawers and cabinets to store different items. There you can place laundry chemical and other light items.
