Q: Even though we have a bathroom fan we have an awful time with mildew on the ceiling. The only thing that I have found that works is spraying it with a bleach and water solution. However, I hate doing this because I worry about bleach dripping everywhere (including on me) and the smell of bleach is overpowering for days! Does anyone know of a good product that will do the job?
Tip #1: Try peroxide or bleach gel on a paint roller w/ an extender. They worked for me...Michelle
Tip #2: Wow, I have that same problem, but I never thought of using a paint roller w/extender. I've used bleach gel, and a chair to stand on, lol. Next time I will use the extender!
Tip #3: We had the same problem a few years ago. I don't remember how I got rid of it except that after it was gone, I repainted the ceiling with mildew resistant paint (from Home Depot). I haven't seen it since. Bye bye mildew...Cindy
