Removing Hair Dye Stain from Formica Countertop

Q: My bathroom countertop is a whitish gray marble design. When I last colored my hair I got some of the dye on the countertop. I wiped it off with a damp rag, but no soap. Now there is a cloudy brownish area where I wiped. It isn't really too dark, but is noticeable. I don't want to use anything that might scratch the surface, but need something stronger than the usual cleaners. Anybody have a suggestion?

Tip #1: Try Awesome that they sell at the Dollar Stores.

Tip #2: Thought I might suggest a product called Solumel. I use it for removing just about anything and it smells wonderful. It's also non-toxic which is a plus if you have small children.
