Removing Sticker Glue from Clothing

Q: I removed a sticker after a shirt was washed leaving the glue still on the shirt. How can I best remove the left over sticker glue?
Tip #1: I have also done the same thing. Use Goo Gone. You can buy it anywhere. Use it liberally and then wash the shirt again. It should come out.
Tip #2: I tried isopropyl alcohol -- rubbing alcohol -- and it worked...Ellen
Tip #3: I tried the rubbing alcohol and although that worked better than nothing. I tried WD40. I sprayed it on the large paper labels that were stuck on my new cloth napkins and presto. Within less than a minute they all pealed off without leaving any of the sticky residue behind. I just thought you would like to know. Thanks for all of your great tips...Susan
