5 Shower Cleaning Tips

Description: Easy tips for keeping your bathroom shower sparkling clean.

No single person can achieve real sanitation of the body if your own shower is soiled and filthy. Like any other room in your home, it is important to regularly do shower cleaning.

1. Start with your walls. An important tip for cleaning your bathroom walls is using car wax. Car wax application to your walls will seal the pores of your walls that will result to easy cleaning and maintenance. Such application can be undertaken twice a year. For regular wall cleaning, you can use any general bathroom cleansing solution.

2. From walls, go straight to the bathroom flooring. If you have a tiled shower, all you need to use is a tile cleaner. Instead of car wax for your walls, paste wax is recommended to use for flooring. By doing so, you will be able to prevent build-up of water spots. Finish cleaning by drying the floor with clean and soft rags.

3. After you're finished with the walls and floorings, take some time to clean your faucets. A cheap and easy cleansing solution to remove water and dirt deposits around your faucets or drain is vinegar right from your kitchen. All you need to do is soak a cloth in vinegar and then put it around the faucet. Wait for some time and then scrub it with an old and unused toothbrush.

4. Vinegar solution also works with sinks. In addition, you can also use baby oils to clean your sink. However, cleaning the sink varies from the type of stain your sinks have. Lemon juice is good for light stains. On the other hand, you can combine lemon juice and a paste of borax if your sink has dark stains.

5. "Being ready at all times!" is the best cleaning tip you can follow. Always have an all-purpose cleaner and a sponge to do easy clean up. Doing a regular clean up will prevent you from undertaking a series of major bathroom cleaning. Additionally, it is also best to hang an air freshener inside your bathroom.
