Tip #1: This works for me with cotton/polyester shirts. Spray the shirt with Febreeze Fabric Refresher, then wash. Then, after washing and drying, spray again and hang up to airdry.

Tip #2: Try using some washing soda when you wash it. Or maybe take a thin paste of baking soda and let it sit on the problem area for a little while before washing it. ...Judy

Tip #3: I have had luck with hot vinegar and borax. Let it soak for several hours.
