2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar 4 c. 40% bran flakes cereal 2 c. 100% bran buds cereal 4 c. buttermilk 5 c. flour

1 1/4 c. margarine 1 tsp. salt 2 c. boiling water 5 tsp. soda 4 eggs |

Pour 2 c. boiling water over 2 c. bran buds and set aside. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and buttermilk and mix well. Add 4 c. dry 40% bran flakes. Sift flour, soda and salt together and add to mixture. Fold in soaked bran buds. Bake in buttered muffin tins at 400 degrees for 20 min. |
