4 cups all bran cereal 2 cups 100% bran cereal 2 cups boiling water 1 quart buttermilk 3 cups sugar |
4 eggs 1 cup shortening or oil 5 cups flour 5 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt |

Instructions: |

Pour boiling water on cereal. Add buttermilk and sugar. Beat eggs and add to cereal. Add shortening, flour, baking soda, salt, and stir just until mixed. Don't overmix. Put in jars and store in refrigerator. Keep 5-6 weeks. Don't stir when taking out of jars. Fill paper muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. |
