1 sm. head Cabbage 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 can (10-1/2 oz.) Tomato Soup 1-1/2 C. Water 1/2 C. chopped Onion |
1/4 tsp. Pepper 1/4 C. grated Italian Style Cheese 1 lb. Ground Beef 1/2 C. Rice |

Chop cabbage into medium size pieces, spread in bottom of greased 13x9x2 pan. Brown meat and onion in large skillet, breaking up meat with large spoon as cooks. Stir in uncooked rice, salt, pepper. Spoon mixture over cabbage. Heat tomato soup and water to boiling. Pour over all ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover casserole with foil tightly and bake 1-1/2 hrs. at 350 degrees. Fluff lightly with fork before serving. |
