Ingredients:
2 cans chicken broth
1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces
1 large onion or 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can evaporated milk
2-4 slices American Cheese
1/4 stick butter/margarine
Cooking Instructions:
Boil cauliflower in the chicken broth until tender with the onions and seasonings. Add evaporated milk, cheese and butter. Bring to a boil and then simmer on low 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can add instant potato flakes to thicken, if desired.
Serving Suggestions:
This is great along with ham sandwiches, burgers or tuna fish sandwiches!!
Additional Comments:
You can use broccoli instead of the cauliflower, or half and half.
