1 c. flour 1/4 to 1/2 t. salt Dash pepper Grated Parmesan cheese |
1/2 c. butter or margarine Milk Sesame seeds |

Mix flour, salt, pepper, and 2/3 c. cheese. Cut in butter until particles are size of small peas. Add 2 T. milk if needed to make dough stick together. Shape in a smooth ball and roll out on lihgtly floured board to 1/8"-1/4" thickness, keeping edges even. Brush with milk and sprinkle with cheese and sesame seeds. (I use American cheese that comes in a container like Parmesan cheese--it adds color.) With pastry wheel or sharp knife, cut in cubes, or use small cutter. Work scraps together and roll again. Put on greased baking sheet and bake about 6 min. at 370 degrees. Cool and store in airtight container. Reheat if desired. Makes about 4 dozen. |
