2 c. sugar 1 c. white corn syrup 1 c. water 2 c. dry roasted peanuts 2 tbsp. butter |
2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking soda |

Instructions: |

Mix first 3 ingredients together in heavy pan. Cover and bring to boil. Uncover and cook to 236 degrees F on candy thermometer. Stir in dry roasted peanuts, slowly. Keep mixture boiling. Stir until 238 degrees F. Stir in butter. Cook until 300 degrees F. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda. Mix only enough to dissolve soda. Pour on large greased cookie sheet (or 2 if you prefer thin brittle). |
