2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups grated carrots 1/2 cup chopped walnuts |

In a saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and stir well. Remove from heat and beat in eggs. Beat in all remaining ingredients except nuts. Pour into 2 greased (8x8-inch) pans. Sprinkle on walnuts. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
