3 slices bacon 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans, cooked 1 cup cooked rice 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs |

Fry bacon until crisp, reserving drippings. Crumble bacon. In 2-quart casserole, combine bacon, tomatoes, cornstarch, pepper and salt. Stir until well blended. Stir in cooked beans and rice. Combine reserved bacon drippings and bread crumbs. Toss until bread crumbs are evenly coated. Sprinkle bread crumbs over casserole. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbling. |
