4 (16 oz. each) cans boston baked beans 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained 1 (12 oz.) jar heinz chili sauce 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee 1/2 cup jack daniels bourbon

1/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed) 1/2 cup onions (chopped)(optional) 1 tablespoon molasses 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard |

Combine all ingredients in pot and cook over low heat for 2 hours, or put in covered baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours, or put in crock pot on high for 3-4 hours. |

To make the coffee, dissolve 1 teaspoon of instant coffee in 1/2 cup of water.
You can use strong coffee from breakfast.
Prepared this dish twice over the weekend for cookouts. Everybody liked these beans! |
