DIY Personalized Pen Gift
by

This fun personalized pen craft has been making its rounds on Pinterest the past couple of months. After the last post I saw I decided I wanted to give these pens a try. They would make a great teacher appreciation gift idea.

For this craft you will need:

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Clear plastic ink pens

You can literally complete this craft in less than 15 minutes. When you buy the pens make sure they are clear and that they are re-fillable so you can remove the ink from the inside. I purchased mine at Walmart. It was .97 for two pens.

You only need a very small piece of scrapbook paper for this project. Remove the ink from the pen and wrap the ink part in scrapbook paper. Cut scrapbook paper to fit.

Insert ink and scrapbook paper into clear plastic part of pen. That's it! I made these to match a post it note holder I made for my boys' teachers for a teacher appreciation gift. These pens are very versatile. You could make them for any occasion or event.

I have many more teacher appreciation ideas pinned on a Pinterest board.
