Donut Hole Acorns

These donut hole acorns are really cute. I found this recipe a couple of months ago and have been excited to try it. They are similar to the acorn cookies we tried a few days ago, but these are made with donut holes.

For these donut hole acorns, you will need:

  • Donut holes
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Chocolate sprinkles

These donut hole acorns only take a few minutes to make. Just spread a little chocolate frosting on the end of a donut hole and roll it around in chocolate sprinkles.

Place half of a pretzel stick into the end of the donut hole that has the sprinkles on it. If the frosting is too thick, just add a drop of milk to it to thin it out. The frosting spreads better at room temperature. Mine had been in the refrigerator and was a little too stiff to spread.

If your family likes frosted donuts with sprinkles then they will love these little treats. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any time!

If there are any left, store them in an airtight container.
