Jelly Bean Picture for Spring or Easter

This is a fun picture you can make from jelly beans for spring. This project is easy enough for kids to make, but it is fun for any age.

Supplies Needed:

  • Jelly beans
  • Picture frame
  • Hot glue

I created a similar picture from candy hearts for Valentine's Day, so I thought it would be fun to make a picture from jelly beans for Easter.

Jelly Bean Picture

I tried to create the shape of an egg with my jelly beans, but I couldn't get the shape I was looking for so I decided to make a spring flower instead. For the jelly beans, I chose small pastel Jelly Belly jelly beans.

First take the glass out of the picture frame and clean the glass on one side. Set the glass in front of you and arrange the jelly beans in your desired shape on the glass. Use the hot glue gun to glue the jelly beans into place.

Place the glass back into the frame, and you're done! You can paint the frame if you want it to be a different color. If you want a distressed look, use a little sandpaper on the paint after it has dried.

If you want a background for your picture, cut a piece of colored paper or scrapbook paper to fit the frame. You are only limited by your imagination!
