Lucky Charm Treats for St. Patrick's Day
You probably already know that you can make Rice Krispie Treats with almost any kind of cereal. This version is made with Lucky Charms for St. Patrick's Day.
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
38 to 40 large marshmallows
6 c. Lucky Charms cereal
In a large sauce pan, melt butter and large marshmallows over medium heat. Keep an eye on it because it can burn easily if you forget about it.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in Lucky Charms cereal.
Spread the warm cereal mixture into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish with a buttered spatula. Let set until the treats have hardened and then cut into squares. These will only stay fresh for a day or two, if they last that long.
