These mini caramel apples couldn't be easier to make. You only need a couple of supplies to make them, and you can have them done and ready to eat in less than an hour.

Supplies Needed:

Granny Smith apples
Caramel ice cream topping
Sprinkles, nuts, etc.
Popsicle sticks
Melon baller

You can use any kind of toppings you like for these mini caramel apples. Choose different colored sprinkles, crushed toffee, crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips, toasted coconut, or whatever else you can think of.

Use the melon baller to create the mini apples. If you've never used a melon baller before, they are really easy and fun to use. They are used to make watermelon and canteloupe balls. If you don't already own one, you can find them at Amazon.

Just take a scoop out of a firm crisp apple such as a Granny Smith apple. You can get 7 or 8 mini apples out of one large apple.

Set the mini apples on waxed paper and then place a popsicle stick into each one.

Place the caramel topping in one bowl, and the toppings into individual bowls. Holding on to the popsicle sticks, dip each mini apple into caramel then into the topping of your choice. Place the apples on the waxed paper to harden, then enjoy!
