Mini Pumpkin Candleholders for Fall
These candle holders made from mini pumpkins are really cute and make a great addition to your fall or Thanksgiving table. All you need are a drill and a tea light candle and you will have a beautiful candle holder in just a few minutes!
- Mini pumpkin
- Tea light candle
- Drill with 1 1/2 inch spade bit
To make these candle holders you will need a drill with a 1 1/2 inch spade drill bit. A 1 1/2 inch bit will make a hole that is the perfect size for a tealight candle to fit into. A spade bit has a flat end instead of a pointed end like a regular drill bit. They are used to create perfectly round holes in wood and other objects. You can buy one for a couple of dollars at any hardware store.
First remove the stem from the pumpkin. Measure how tall the votive candle is and use the drill to create the hole in the top of the pumpkin.
That's it! These mini pumpkin candle holders are a great addition to any holiday table. Your guests will be very impressed with your creativity (they will be REALLY impressed if you grew the pumpkins in your own garden). You can also use round gourds as candle holders.
