I found this neat idea for decorating a post-it note holder on this web site. I can't believe how cute these are, and how easy they are to make. I decided to make some as teacher appreciation gifts for my boys' teachers.
For this craft you will need:
- Clear plastic picture frames (the ones that stand up)
- Scrapbook paper
- Glue gun
You can make these post-it note holders out of a small piece of scrapbook paper. The clear picture frames you can get at the Dollar Store or at Walmart (at Walmart they are .95!) All you have to do is cut a piece of scrapbook paper to fit inside the frame where the photo would normally go.
Use the glue gun to glue the post-it notes to the front of the frame. Glue any embellishments you would like around the post-it notes. You can use ribbons and/or buttons, or any kind of cut-outs. I found some cute plastic flower-shaped buttons at Walmart that matched my scrapbook paper.
Then I made some DIY personalized pens with the same scrapbook paper to match. A post-it note holder along with two pens cost about $2 to make. What an inexpensive teacher appreciation idea!
I have many more teacher appreciation ideas pinned on a Pinterest board.
