Boy’s Bedroom Ideas

Bedroom ideas for boys can be hard to come by depending on the age of your son and what they like and dislike. Finding something you both agree on and that fits into your price range can also be a challenge.

If space is a problem, there are a few suggestions that you can follow that will help you with this problem. A bunk bed works well if you have more than one child sleeping in the room.

Another space saver is a bunk bed with a desk under it. When your child needs a desk, but you don’t really have the room for it this is an easy fix. Another option for a desk is to put it in the closet. You’ll still have the ability to hang clothes up and they can use the desk at the same time.

Here are some suggestions for themes that your boys may like.

Sports Theme

Sports themes are perfect for boys. You can place posters from their favorite teams on the walls, put a football in a case on a shelf, and paint the room to match the team.

Space Theme

If your child is into space and astronomy using a space theme is perfect. Put glow in the dark stickers of each planet on the wall, glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, and then you can put posters of the planets on the walls.

Race Car Theme

A race car theme can be done in a couple different ways. For the younger children you can do race car stickers and paint a checkered flag on the wall. For the older children they may have a driver they like. Posters for the car and driver work well. Blankets on the bed of the driver make for a perfect room.

The paint can match the driver or their favorite colors. A wall that is black and white checkered will work as well. Another option is to paint all the walls white and use the border, stickers, and posters.

Super Hero Theme

For younger boys, superhero’s like superman, spiderman, and batman work well. Paint the walls to match the super hero and then put posters up of them. Some stores offer wall sized stickers of your super hero. You’ll also find borders and other smaller stickers that will work.

Purchase a comforter, sheets, pillows, and other items to go in the room. If you have enough room, you can purchase a chair with the super hero on it or other decorations.

Music Theme

Decorating a room for a teenager can be a challenge to say the least. They are at that stage where they don’t like anything or they may have a few things they do like. Most teenagers like music, so you’ll need to run with this. Posters of their favorite band may be about all you can find.

Decorating a boy’s room can be a challenge. They are picky and may only have a few things you can use. When your son is this way, you’ll need all the boy’s bedroom ideas you can get. These five suggestions above will help you get started.
