Using wall art is a creative form of self-expression, and helps to show off your personality as well. It’s a way of letting others know that this is your place, and no one else’s. Though some of us will simply find that coordinating colors is enough, others make it their life’s work – to see how far apart they can set themselves from the rest of us through unique and creative décor. For those of you who could use a few creative tips, let’s see where our imaginations can go.
Reflections
We know that mirrors were created to serve one purpose, reflection. As the field of décor is becoming more and more expressive through with personality and style, we are learning some fun and unique ways to incorporate mirrors into our decorating. You might like to use a more personal touch, like having photos made into the frame for your mirror. There are many different colors and patterns available, including mosaic mirrors. These days we even see mirrors being twisted and shaped into different styles and sizes.
Keeping Time
For most of us, we couldn’t survive without glancing at the clock several times each day. Our lives revolve around time, so why not tell time with a little style. Wall clocks can be formal and elegant, or fun and bright. They come in every shape, size and color. For a more formal taste, a pendulum clock might be a good choice. Other contemporary or fun styles might be neon clocks, water clocks, digital or electronic modern styles. Maybe you would prefer a clock with roman numerals, or prefer one with a digital face – make it unique to you.
Abstract Metals
Metal wall art has become one of the latest trends in décor and comes in many different shapes and sizes. Many of the contemporary metal wall artwork pieces are made of copper, brass, and wrought iron; the first two are generally the most expensive, while wrought iron art can be much cheaper. Abstract metal wall sculptures can add new interest to any home or office.
Original Paintings
What better way to spruce up your home or office, than to select just the right piece? It’s a great way to add a splash of color to a room, and there are countless themes for any setting. A painting or sketch might be used to accent the color patterns and themes that you want in a room, or to build the perfect atmosphere for your clients. Choose from oils or watercolors, or maybe an art reproduction print would fit your taste.
Explore new and different ways to create your next wall space. Taking that extra time to get creative can have a more amazing outcome than you ever expected.
