10/13/2006: "Dollar Store Decorating"

We're short on cash this month (two house payments!), so I was trying to figure out how I could buy a few more Halloween decorations for our new home. It occurred to me to try the Dollar Store, just to see what I could find. They didn't have a lot of stuff, but they did have a few neat things. I got a cute pumpkin candle holder, and two cute teddy bear pilgrims for Thanksgiving, all for $1 each! I hadn't been there in ages, you never know what you're going to find. I'll have to check back there at Christmas time.
