01/16/2007: "JCPenneys Clearance Sale"
I'm not much of a mall shopper. Most of my boys' clothes are hand-me-downs or from yard sales. My husband and I want to take them to get their pictures taken next month, and we wanted to find something cute to get their pictures taken in.
We looked around the mall, and most children's stores were just too expensive. We decided to take a look at JCPenneys, and stumbled on their year-end clearance sales. I couldn't believe our luck.
They had Levi's 40% off, and a lot of items 70% off. For about $120 we got two Levi's jackets, two pairs of toddler Levi's (with adjustable waists!), 8 shirts, and two pairs of shoes. We saved at least $100. The shirts had pictures of Elmo, firetrucks, bulldozers, etc., on them. When we showed them to the boys they were so excited they couldn't decide which shirt to wear. They ended up trying them all on! Now it's a major production every day picking out a shirt ![]()
I will definitely check out JCPenneys sales more often.
