03/14/2007: "Toddlers Taking Diapers Off"

I tried everything to get my boys to keep their diapers on. They are pretty good about it during the day, but as soon as they get into bed, everything they can possible unzip, untape, or unbutton comes off! This got really tiring in a hurry, especially when I was washing their bed sheets and blankets sometimes more than once a day! I tried everything, then stumbled on a solution that really works! I decided that what I really care most about is keeping their diapers on. I don't care if they take their clothes off in bed. I started using packing tape to tape their diapers on, and it really works...it's been working for weeks. You have to tape all the way around the diaper so that they can't find the end of it and press it down really well. This is the only thing I have found to work and bed time has been much more peaceful lately smile
