Woman's Day - Sept. Issue

I just found out yesterday that some of my money-saving tips for cooking for babies will be in the September issue of Woman's Day magazine! Look for an article about saving money at the grocery store. smile

Homeschooling for Excellence

To homeschool or not to homeschool? I am weighing all of my options for schooling my boys. Fortunately I have several years to prayerfully decide what to do, but I am committed to at least homeschooling them through preschool to see how things go. I am very intrigued by the idea of homeschooling and the flexibility it provides. I am currently reading Homeschooling for Excellence by David and Micki Colfax and The Homeschooling Book of Answers by Linda Dobson. I highly recommend both books for people who are considering homeschooling their children.

Scrapbooking Graduation Memories

Well, graduation celebrations are over! We had a great weekend. On Saturday the weather was perfect for our daughter's graduation party. It was in the high 70's with a cool breeze...we couldn't ask for better! The graduation ceremony took place in a sports coliseum. My husband and I spent about half of the ceremony chasing our boys around the lobby. We weren't the only parents with little ones there smile Our daughter had a great time, though, and we took lots of great pictures of all of the festivities. Here are some ideas for scrapbooking graduation memories:
