How to Pray for Your Children
I have just started a great book I picked up at a yard sale called "How to Pray for Your Children", by Quin Sherrer and Ruthanne Garlock (also available from Amazon.com). It was written by a mom who raised her kids in the church, walked through a period of rebellion with each of them, and then watched them come back to their faith one by one. It is very inspiring and has a lot of great ideas on how to specifically "stand in the gap" for your kids and be their prayer warriors. It has also inspired me to start a prayer journal, which I'll touch more on later after I've had a chance to write down all my thoughts.

25 Week Appointment
This week was my 25 week doctor's appointment. I just barely passed my 1-hour glucose screening to test for gestational diabetes, but it looks like that won't be a problem, which is great. When we were listening to the heartbeats we got to hear one of the twins hiccuping. It was very cute! I have gained 10 pounds in the past 3 weeks. That is really quite unbelievable. I'm really starting to slow down, but so far things are progressing well. Almost done Christmas shopping! Tomorrow my mom and I are going shopping for a baby swing, so that should be fun. We are going to do a 3-D ultrasound on January 3rd. I've never seen one before, but apparently they look like actual photographs of the baby! That's hard to believe. I can't wait to see how big they are now. Happy holidays!
